Operations Assistant
Jet Assist Ltd is part of the SERE Group of Companies. It is responsible for the handling of executive, medical and business aviation in and out of Belfast International Airport. Due to continued growth Jet Assist Ltd are seeking to fill a number of Operations Assistant roles.

Package:
Basic £ 28,000 OTE £34,000 Plus Overtime + Call out Bonus and Out of Hours + Company Pension Scheme
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in all aspects of the daily operations within the Business Jet Centre
- Interpreting Notams, TAFs, METARs and Snowtams
- Maintaining a flight watch of all planned and live flights.
- Monitoring air traffic flow using Euro Control -‐ Central Flow Management Unit (CFMU)
- Monitor the Ops Board, update information and assist in ensuring that all aspects are in date.
- Arranging and confirming aircraft handling requests, catering orders, crew/pax transport and fuel orders
- Operation of company vehicles & equipment for use on the business aviation apron including fueling aircraft.
- Ramp duties to include loading & unloading of passenger/crew baggage, aircraft marshalling, delivery of in-flight catering orders; removal and disposal of trash; provide aircraft cleaning and toilet service.
- Liaison with the air crew to ensure that they receive a premium service
- Other duties as required;
Essential/ Desirable Criteria
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (or Equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade C or above.
- A strong desire to work in a growing aviation business with a high degree of energy, drive and a willingness to take on responsibility.

- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and in high-pressure environments.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Full, & valid driving license is essential.
- A minimum of 1 year’s experienceworkinginanairportenvironment would be desirable.
- Knowledge of the Aviation Industry and Ground Handling.
- Proficient in the use of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Database, E-Mail and Internet.
- Due to airport security regulations to obtain an airport pass, a criminal record check will be required.
- Knowledge of operational systems such as CFMU would be desirable
